GPS accuracy

GPS accuracy

Soundscape can only describe your surroundings as well as your phone knows where you are. Accuracy of 10 meters (30 feet) or better is good, up to 20 meters (60 feet) is workable, and anything more than that means callouts may name the wrong side of the street or arrive late.

Accuracy is usually worst indoors, among tall buildings, and in the first minute or so after you go outside. If the figure below stays poor while you are outdoors in the open, try turning your phone’s location services off and on again.

Current accuracy: %1$s (%2$s)
