Why is Soundscape working offline?

When there is no internet connection, or the Soundscape services are down, Soundscape switches to offline mode. It will keep working, but some features may be limited.

Limitations

Callouts still work in areas you have walked through before, since Soundscape stores them in your callout history. You can also place an audio beacon or create a marker on places already stored in your callout history.

What can you do?

Soundscape will try to resume normal operation once your phone has a good internet connection, either over Wi-Fi or cellular data. If your phone has a good connection but Soundscape still does not resume normal operation, the Soundscape services may be experiencing an outage.
